It will allow the user to quickly and thoroughly check the temperature of hay, grain, root vegetables and other crops during storage.

The thermometer is equipped in a stainless steel probe allowing for easy measurement in stacks, piles, silos, etc. The probe with the reader is connected to the cable with the use of a solid screw-in connector, which eliminates the risk of accidental disconnection of the probe.

TROL2 is a response to the expectations of even the most demanding users who emphasised the importance of a modern agricultural thermometer having a large and backlit display, a possibility of independent updating, built-in memory enabling to store a large number of measurements, a special software for further analysis of the collected data on the computer and a possibility of cataloguing them against the probe from which the indication was read.

Each TROL2 measuring probe has its own and unique ID number, so we can assign each probe a different name and the reader will recognise which probe we use and record indications for that probe. With these features, we can permanently install the probes in the tested materials by assigning them different names, and then simply approach with the reader and store the indications in memory, which is very convenient (this solution maximises the measurement time, as when the probe remains in the tested material the whole time, it is not necessary to wait until it adopts the temperature of the material).

TROL2 also offers a possibility of cooperation with temperature probes of different designs and lengths, depending on user needs, while maintaining the highest accuracy without the necessity to calibrate the reader with the probe. The new thermometer model includes these features, as well as many other and thanks to the strength and working conditions to which it was developed, it has no equals on the market.

The thermometer is equipped with a stainless steel probe that allows easy measurements in piles, silos, etc. The probe is connected to the reader with a cable using a solid connector. The probes are available in different sizes:

  • Non-folding probe 1.0 m (with handle),
  • Folding probe 1.5 m,
  • Non-folding probe 1.5 m,
  • Folding probe 3.0 m

SOFTWARE FOR DATA TRANSFER

The TROL2 temperature meter comes with free, multi-language software for data transfer to PCs.

The software generates Excel sheets and measurement reports (by species and by measurement date), presents the temperature changes in time on the graphs, filters the results by date, allows browsing the stored data, has archiving functionality limited only by the hard disc capacity, saves the documents as PDFs, prints, and has many other useful functions.

TROL2 has 4 buttons on the keyboard for comfortable and easy operation (the OK button is to confirm, the ESC button to cancel, and the arrow keys ↑↓ help with intuitive navigation).

A large graphic and LED- illuminated display allows reading the result in any conditions (full sun/night). The menu enables the user to adjust the display settings: illumination time, illumination intensity and contrast. The TROL2 display also has a graphical battery charge indicator.

The multilayer membrane keyboard is watertight and therefore easy to clean. Cleaning under running water is easy thanks to the smooth surface of the detector. Four keys in the detector allow fast and easy measurement. In addition, the keyboard durability is estimated at 5 million clicks. This translates into years of trouble-free operation.

The sensor located at the tip of the probe continuously registers temperature changes, allowing you to perform a quick and accurate temperature measurement (± 0.5°C in the range from 0°C to 85°C / ± 0.9°F in the range from 32°F to 185°F).

After pressing the power button on the thermometer display, the temperature value reading appears in °C / °F.
