Very important meeting with Spanish breeders

One of the most important event in the livestock sector in Spain – on 17-20 March 2015 in Zaragoza were held fair FIGAN which gathered on the vast space of 8 halls 900 exhibitors from 28 countries, offering products and services for breeders and farmers.

During four intensive days, the fair was visited by over 65,000 people including predominantly pigs and sheep breeders, but also numerous trade missions from other countries seeking for partners and Spanish companies wanting to represent their interests in the Iberian Peninsula.

Dramiński company at its stand presented a wide range of portable ultrasound scanners, estrous, pregnancy and mastitis detectors which help with effective management of livestock. We also show our most popular moisture meters: DRAMINSKI Twist Grain for grain moisture measurement and DRAMINSKI HMM for measuring moisture in hay and compressed straw. The greatest interest among visitors enjoyed the ultrasound scanner for the quick pregnancy diagnosis in pigs and sheep – DRAMINSKI Sono Farm mini. Despite the crisis in Spain, many breeders – owners of very big farms see a real need for a simple-to-use tools that will allow them to estimate the real condition of their breeding herd.

An interesting alternative for many breeders who visited us turned out our DRAMINSKI Pregnancy Detector. Few of visitors have already had the occasion to use this device in practice and even recommended it to their friends. Many breeders and inseminators noticed the potential in the electronic estrous detector. They found it as a tool that supports effective insemination without unnecessary material and financial loss. Among the visitors in Figan Fair there were also many veterinary students. Department of Veterinary Sciences in Zaragoza is one of the most active in Spain.

In conclusion – it was a very successful exhibition. We are pleased that Dramiński brand is increasingly recognized also in the south-western Europe and identified as a Polish producer of very good quality product.
