Unusual exhibition of underwater world

What can join sports competitions and passion to photography in an October weekend? A lot, it seems.

Last weekend (25-26 th of October 2014) in the city of Olsztyn Finswimming World Cup took place in the Olympic swimming pool Aquasfera. Competitors from Belarus, Lithuania, Poland, China, Germany, Columbia, Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Slovenia, Finland, Ukraine, France and Italy came to the capital of Warmia and Mazury Voivodeship. All in all there were more than 400 sportspeople who took part in this competition.

During the competition a photo exhibition was organized in the main hall of the swimming pool. The authors of the exhibition were citizens of Olsztyn Alicja and Janusz Dramińskis. The exhibition consisted of 40 underwater pictures taken during numerous underwater trips in different corners of the world. Beautiful underwater landscapes presented well in the space of the sports centre in Olsztyn and attracted the visitors by different shapes of wonderful marine flora and fauna. The president of the city of Olsztyn Mr Piotr Grzymowicz was present at the competition. During the prize giving ceremony he had a chance to admire the beauty of the photographs.
