II Veterinary Ultrasound Conference

We organized the second conference on The Diagnostic Ultrasound in a Vet Clinic which was held in Hotel Park in Olsztyn on 16-17th of May 2015. This event gathered many veterinarians interested in animal diagnostic ultrasound imaging.

The main topic of the conference was not the only factor responsible for gaining interest of the large number of participants. A lot of visitors joined the conference to meet the lecturers – experienced and well-known specialists in veterinary small animals diagnostic imaging. The conference was headed by DVM PHD Anna Kosiec-Tworus. She also gave two interesting speeches on the use of ultrasound imaging in pediatry and on the lymph nodes and pancreas diseases diagnosis.

There were also DVM PhD Tomasz Seweryn and DVM Adam Gierulski present at the conference. PhD Tomasz Seweryn  spoke about the physiology of dogs and cats and their most frequent pathologies. DVM Adam Gierulski gave the speech on diagnostic ultrasound of female animal reproductive system; DVM Mariusz Siedlicki discussed the use of ultrasound imaging in oncology.  The lecture of DVM PHD Olga Szaluś-Jordanow on echo-cardiography  in veterinary practice gained a lot of participants attention. DVM Jan Lorenc closed this two-day event with his speech on the most frequent mistakes in diagnostic ultrasound of small animals abdomen.

We hope our initiative for promoting the knowledge of diagnostic imaging among veterinary professional who specialize in small animal treatment will become one of the most recognizable veterinary events.  We also hope there will be even more participants interested in veterinary imaging visiting us next year.
