Draminski iScan in Latin America

Mexico and Columbia are countries where dairy and beef cattle breeding plays a very important role in the economy. It is also a huge potential and challenge as regards sale of ultrasound scanners. We saw this during our last visit.

In Mexico, we stayed in the UNAM University centre in Tepotzotlán, where with the help of our distributor 2 trainings for veterinary students were organised with local professors as well as embryo transfer and reproduction experts. The participants were surprised by diagnostic opportunities of such a small scanner; iScan worked perfectly not only when used for rectal examination in cows and mares, but also for abdominal examination in goat and sheep.

In Teziutlan, in cooperation with our certified distributor, a demonstration for veterinary practitioners and cow breeders was organised. During the presentations of our portable ultrasound scanners (Animal profi and iScan) participants could see the significant superiority of ultrasound examination over the traditional palpation method.

The next stop on our travel map and Columbia means new demonstrations with the use of Draminski ultrasound scanners for horse and cattle examination. We managed to get together numerous reproduction specialists, who could check out diagnostic capabilities and excellent image quality of iScan in practice.
