  1. What should I remember while using the Grain Master Moisture Meter?
      • the measurement compartment should be filled with appropriate amount of grain. It can be performed with a key attachment. When grain is measured appropriately, a correct reading will be obtained. When grain is not measured appropriately, unnecessary mistakes of readings will occur and grinding will be more difficult.
      • it is very important to clean precisely abrasive disks especially if you change the type of measured grain.
      • After the measurements of samples with high humidity it is necessary to clean abrasive elements as fast as possible.
      • water remaining on the surface of a sample (such as dew) might have a direct influence on the results of measurements; therefore, such situations should be avoided and a sample should be “aired” before tests.

  2. How does the Grain Master operate?

The Grain Master Moisture Meter measures the moisture level of grain. It is equipped with special abrasive disks which grind grain. Because the grain structure has been destroyed, the results are extremely precise and reproducible. A specially chosen “rattle” key facilitates grain grinding. Moreover, it plays a role of a measure.
