The museum houses numerous machines, equipment and tools used in farming, breeding, smithcraft - everything which was handled in the country tens or hundreds of years ago.
Janusz Dramiński explains:
“I do what my heart dictates and at the same time I express my great respect for the hard work of farmers since my whole family comes from the country: my grandparents, aunts, uncles and siblings. Despite the fact that I grew up in a city, as a young boy I used to spend my holidays pasturing cows, dumping cow dung from the cow shed, and during harvest I used to place small sheaves in so-called “sztygi” and ride the hay rake from the horseback. I got to know the type of hard work farmers used to do in the past; however, at present their work has not improved significantly. I do what I do also due to the fact that these machines, devices, tools, being artifacts of a few generations already gone, unnoticeably vanish, devoured by mould, rust, fire or turn into scrap.
